Tom_MazzaTom Mazza is a 25-year veteran of the television industry with extensive experience in television development, production, distribution, research and marketing. He has led large studio based divisions, smaller boutique production and distribution companies and his own independent company.

Prior to EveryWhere Studios, Tom Mazza recently launched Shaftesbury U.S. a Los Angeles based division of Canadian production company Shaftesbury Films.  Mazza set up projects at CBS, ABC, CW, Nickelodeon, Global, CBC, and secured a first look series deal with the ABC Television Network. Before Shaftesbury, Mazza was the Executive Vice President Head of Worldwide Television at Cookie Jar Entertainment, a Toronto based supplier and distributor of television programming. He was responsible for the development, production and worldwide distribution of Cookie Jar’s entertainment properties including a 6,000 episode library of programming.

In 2003, Tom Mazza co-founded Madison Road Entertainment, a Los Angeles based Entertainment Company created to develop television series and to serve the branded entertainment needs of the broadcast television and advertising industries. Mazza Executive Produced Treasure Hunters for NBC, and Greensburg with Leonardo DiCaprio for Discovery. Working with advertisers to create opportunities to deliver a brand’s message into programming,  MRE integrated Proctor & Gamble, Levi’s, Pfizer, Mars, Wal-Mart, Toyota, ASK.com, and Motorola into numerous television properties including Treasure Hunters, Entertainment Tonight, The Apprentice, America’s Next Top Model, Bernie Mac and The Office.

Prior to co-founding Madison Road, Tom Mazza managed over $1Billion in television programming for both Sony and Paramount Televison Studios. As President of Sony Television he directed all operations of the network television division: development, current programming, casting, publicity, business affairs, production, and movies of the week.  At Paramount he served as the Executive Vice President of Creative Affairs where he was responsible for all prime time television development and production (comedy, drama, reality) including managing Paramount’s roster of writers and on-air talent.

He began his career in the marketing department at WUSA-TV (channel 9) in Washington D.C. and later at KATZ Communications in New York City. Mr. Mazza received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dayton and a Masters from The Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Southern California.
