Missing Molly

Based on the novel by Natalie Barelli, MISSING MOLLY tells the story of Rachel Holloway who works at a struggling small-town paper. When the editors decide the best way to save the paper from financial failure is to produce a true crime podcast, Rachel is all for it, until she hears the subject matter. The editorial team wants to investigate the cold case of the disappearance of Molly Forster, a girl who disappeared 15 years ago after her entire family was brutally murdered. Rachel tries to convince the team it’s a lost cause; the case has gone cold, mainly because….. RACHEL IS THE MISSING GIRL MOLLY FORSTER.

Her family’s killer is still out there and revealing who it is could mean death for her, her loving boyfriend, and their 3-year-old daughter. Inserting herself into the podcast’s investigative team, Rachel at first tries to stifle the leads that begin to trickle in. But soon Rachel realizes her efforts won’t stop the podcast and the information she knows could actually help to finally bring her family’s killer to justice. The podcast team heads to Rachel’s hometown to speak to those who were close to the Forsters and the case. But when people they’ve interviewed start dying and the killer starts to get close to her best friend, Rachel realizes keeping her identity a secret might no longer be possible if she’s to keep her friends and her family safe. In the first season, Rachel will discover the killer is only the tip of the iceberg of evil that pervades the town and she may be the only one who can take them all down.
